The African elephant is a very fascinating mammal because there are a lot of adaptations that people don’t know about them like for example:
A Behavioural adaptation of the African elephant is that they have long trunks to grab leaves and plants off of trees and to suck up water to spay on them selves to stay cool.
A structural feature of the African Elephant is that they have big ears that act as fans to keep them cool in the hot environment that they live in.
A physiological fact about the African elephant is that they go through 6 sets of teeth in one life time so if there teeth break they just grow back.
A fact about they have large tusks that they can use to pull bark off of trees, digging for water and to fight other male elephants.
An elephants diet consists of berries which they grab off of trees, grass and other small plants and fruit.
